Verizon couldn't connect wireless

Verizon installed my Fios last week. I had been a Comcast video, voice and data customer.  I had a Motorola modem and used a D-link wireless router.  When they tried to get my computer to connect to the signal from the new Verizon router, it would not recognize it.  It was there and the wireless was strong, but none of my computers would connect. Not the hard wired desktop nor the wireless desktop or even my work laptop. All of these had been working on the Comcast system.

The installers said that my computers had been "married" to the D-link router and they probably knew how to fix it but couldn't touch it. I hadnot installed any D-link software on my work laptop and I don.t think I had done so on the other desktop. What did they mean?

They then connected the D-link router  downstream of the Verizon router and wired it into my desktop. I get internet on the hard wired computer, but the wireless doesn't work.

Any ideas of how I get the wireless to work?

We spoke and resolved the issue on the phone.  3 PC with 3 seperate issues actually.  1 was resolved by resetting the TCPIP stack another was resolved by saving the profile inside the Belkin usb adapter utility software and one was resolved inputting the correct wep key located inside the router..:)

Stop knocking on the new guy.  =P

As you know, the user who created the thread would have to mark that thread as being resolved.

Thanks!
