I want to add a wireless access point and repeater to my Fios router. Does anyone have any experience with a make and model that works well, and is compatible with the Verizon Fios router?
I have been using a TrendNet Tew-647 ga wireless access point for about 6 months. It is connected to a Panasonic Blu Ray Player and works perfectly with the Verizon Actiontec Router. Very easy set up with the instructions provided. More difficult, was the set up with the Blu Ray Player but after a a couple of trials and errors it worked fine. I do notice that you do have to unplug and plug in the TrendNet to reset it when you want to use Pandora or access Amazon. Otherwise, no complaints.
I run a dlink dir-655, not quite what you were asking but works fine for me and extends my range to all over the property also is providing wireless-n and gigabit access internally for all machines.
