Why do I keep getting messages from Verizon telling me to move up to WPA2 security......that is what I have.

I got the same  message,  it must be a bug in the software.   I use a netgear router for wireless and WPA2 is the default

security type so I know I am good .

If you are not using a Verizon netgear router, but instead your own (you didn't say) than they will not realize you are using WPA2.  They can only tell what there routers are configured for.

Are you running the Netgear router as the primary router?

Must be Verizon crappy software.....I got the Verizon Gateway router.

On the page "Change your wireless network from WEP to WPA2 or WPA" they do not even show the new Gateway router.
