3D Channel Listing

I'm trying to get a listing of the 3D channels on FIOS.  The channel listings page has no filter for 3D channels, and the FIOS chat was useless.  It's 2012 it shouldn't be that hard to get a list of 3D channels given how much I'm paying for this service.  Do they even have any 3D channels at all? Are too embarrassed to admit it?

They carry ONE 3D channel, ESPN 3D, channel 1002. If you subscribe to the premium movie channels there are 3D movies available in VOD. The 3D TV has not taken off popularity wise, very few houses have 3D tv's (I have one and after watching a few 3D movies, Avengers, Thor, etc. , I honestly I could care less about it). You aren't going to find a lot of 3D channel offering from any carrier, it's just not that popular at the moment.

I can understand why 3D may not appeal to you, since the movies you mentioned were not made with 3D in mind (THOR is particularly useless in 3D).  Try seeing something like HUGO or FINAL DESTINATION 5 in 3D and you might like it more.  Anyway, the retail sales of 3D televisions continue to rise...and will get an even bigger bump this holiday season.

It doesn't matter. The masses did not embrace 3D. Although personally I watch two 3D titles from BD every week, the vast majority of consumers could not care less about 3D. The one 3D channel FiOS had has been removed and the ESPN 3D channel was going to stop broadcasting soon anyway.

I have a 3D TV and enjoy watching some movies in that format. I tried watching ESPN 3D for some basketball games and after you've watched one or two, the novelty is gone.

There are NO 3D channels offered by FiOS. ESPN 3D was shut down by ESPN a while back due to high costs and general lack of interest.  3D never took off, there has been no increase in interest. I have a 3D tv and honestly could care less about it (though that is my opinion).

There are some 3D movies available in VOD (for premium channel subscibers only, i.e. they are NOT free).

3D Channels, no. There are some 3D movies available in HBO, STARZ VOD but you obvioulsy need to be a subscriber to watch them.
