On Demand is broken again. "VOD request has timed out due to a network issue." I would say that about one third of the time that I want to watch an On Demand program---the network is down. I pay $200 per month for a level of reliability that reminds me of telephone service in Africa 30 years ago. It is so hit or miss that you can't plan your day around watching programs you have theoretically paid for. And, of course, if you want to bring this to the attention of Verizon (what used to be called a "complaint"), you can't even find a 'circular file' email box for them to ignore. I know that there is a cable company and satellite company out there, but why does it still feel like a monopoly? The cost of switching all your services is just too high. And now they want you to pay more for FIOS Quantum. Let's see---a faster speed times no available programming equals...?
