First Fearnet, then Cloo, and now Universal HD. That's 3 stations I've lost in the past 2 months, yet I receive no deduction in my monthly bill. Well, screw you verizon!! You can take your services and shove them straight up your **bleep** for all I care. I'll deduct $5 from my monthly bill "every month" and if I get disconnected then so be it. I'm sick & tired of being ripped off by you people--along with all the aggravation & headaches I've suffered due to the ongoing glitches in your services. You keep removing the somewhat decent stations and leave all the crappy ones behind. VERIZON IS CRAP!

Fearnet, Cloo and Universal HD are probably worth about 90 cents on your bill. So I wouldn't go the $5 per month route.

Couple of things that are dead wrong here. First, Fearnet was NOT removed by Verizon, the channel was SHUT DOWN by Comcast, who own(ed) the channel. Fearnet no longer exists. Second, Universal HD is still there, they just removed it from a specific package, like ALL carriers do from time to time.  Cloo, yes Verizon dropped them, don't know why except they say the cost outweighed the demand.

As long as the subscriber fees each channel charges keep increasing your going to continue to see changes in channel offerings. All carriers do this, not just Verizon.

I know fearnet was shut down, that's not the point. The point is, less channels should mean the less money in which I should have to pay. Yes, verizon & other cable companies offer hundreds of channels, but the MAJORITY of those channels are crap.. So when they remove the few channels that are somewhat decent to watch it  really ticks me off big time. Furthermore, it's not just the 3 channels that I've mentioned. There have been other channels in the past "like G4" that have been removed also. "And I really liked G4". As for Universal HD... It isn't around if I won't be getting it anymore, now will it? I'm not going to be a sucker & pay an extra ten or twenty dollars more a month for a station that I casually enjoy watching, but remove that station from my line up without giving me a deduction on my bill !

And that's why you're you and I'm me. It's the principle of the matter.

Actually more channels have been added then removed.  Of course probably not ones you care about.

Note because not all extreme users do not have a Mpeg4 tuner it has been missing some of these adds.  Also some of the moves (perhaps including Universal HD) to Ultimate have been  because the channels are going to Mpeg4.

G4? Hasn't that been dropped by pretty much everybody accept Comcast, which I believe owns it? And it's only showing repeats of its old original programming for the handful of carriers that still have it. What a crushing loss.

If you had Universal HD as part of Extreme up to this point you were lucky. It was never part of Extreme where I live, only Ultimate so where I live there is no change.
