When did FiOS start using "TV GUIDE" brand data for the guide?

Just noticed the tiny, red TV GUIDE icon in the bottom left of the guide screen.  Also, more movies now have the release year now.  When did this change take place, and how long is the contract for?  I want to know that my guide data will now be coming from TV GUIDE only and not the other terrible data provider that has been used up until now.  Thanks.

The red TV GUIDE logo is not new.  That's a licensing requirement of the Macrovision (formerly Gemstar) EPG patents.   Macrovision owns the patent on the electronic program guide and they require that everyone pay a license fee and include the TVGuide logo in their products.

Verizon is still using FYI Television, the same guide data provider they've had since 2006.

Also the year on the movies is not new either, it's been there for quite some time.

I've also noticed that for syndicated shows that are reruns, it will actually say "From April" or "From December," or whenever the episode originally aired.
