When is the actual date for FSC HD availability?

Anyone from verizon FiOS - please advise the actual date of Fox Soccer Channel HD availability date.

Or at least the aproximate date

Not a Verizon employee but Verizon almost never announces in advance when something will be deployed (new channels, IMG, or whatever).

Best answer is when you see it in your guide then that will be the date (and not trying to be a wise guy, just relating 4 years of experience).

I've heard rumors (and I emphasize the word "rumors") that some new channels may be coming on the 17th.  Guess we'll wait and see.  Could be FSC, BET, and TRU...maybe even FearNET, if the Spotlight magazine is any indicator.

If FSC is deployed on the 17th, perhaps it is being tied to the promotion of the start of the MLS Season. Sure hope so. It's been far too long.

Hopefully FSC+ will be available in HD as well. I really hate paying $15.00 per month for SD.

Guys-

FSC HD was supposed to be the next HD add - but then was bumped for BET HD - which allegedly may be coming the week of 3/21.

Now - latest is that it has been bumped again for TruTV HD - which may be launched next week in time for March Madness.

So, soccer fans are bent over once again.

And from what I know - FSC + HD is not in the plans at the moment.

College BB is big but it seems that every channel takes precedence over Soccer. I am a sub to V becasue of the Triple Freedom pack and love the free long distance and phone but I refuse to pay for cable for 1 TV to watch footie games in HD. If V does not have FSC in HD by the start of the next EPL season I will cut V loose.

You have got to be kidding me?  It got bumped again by TruTV?   Where did you hear this from?

I see they are doing a free preview starting tomorrow for FSC + for the week.   They are obviously trying to sell it during Champions League week with some good matches, but you'd have to be an idiot (like me!) to pay $15 for the crappy quality that it comes in over SD on.   It appears even worse to me than the FSC feed, though that is probably my $15 per month being thrown down toilet that is distorting my view.

Could someone from FIOS give us some feedback on this? It's a shame that DirecTV has this chanel in HD over the air and FIOS TV, with 'state of the art' Fiber Optic cannnot transmit this channel in HD
