I have a CHS 435HDC Fios DVR and trying to scroll through to watch previously recorded programs is so painfully slow it is ridiculous. It can sometimes take up to 10 minutes to get to the show I want to watch. Is there a fix for this or should just plan on having to cancel my service.
I still use a tube TV so I know its not the vaunted brightness of a plasma screen. That would make no sense anyway because the DVR response is just as slow with the on box buttons as it is with the remote.
Nevertheless, I have tried:
-reducing the brightness on my tube TV
-checked to make sure there was no plastic covering her IR sensor on DVR
-kept dvr well ventilated (nothing on top of box)
-run auto-fix mrdvr
none of these have solved the slow response of the "view recordings" menu
Does anyone, anywhere have any workable suggestions or help on how to solve this problem? Please help!
Any resolution? I have the same problem. This is my second DVR with the exact same problem. I can't believe more people do not have this issue. Its not fun trying to put on a program for kids and it takes literaly minutes to scroll. please help!
