1) to be able to record a TV series, not just one episode
2) More support for mobile DVR. You list 3 LG phones. Its a very limited user base, if you support something like windows mobile, it would span a lot more devices, because windows mobile is not locked to one brand, carrier, or phone.

uhhh.... you CAN extend the recording time beyond that scheduled for the event selected.

In addition to being able to record an entire series, recording options would also be nice, like being able to extend the recording 30, 60, or even 90 minutes past the scheduled ending time, etc

1) The feature is disabled at this time. We know about the problem and will be resolved in a future update.
2) As far as the mobile aspect of this goes i am not too familiar with this one. I would imagine more phones will be added during a future release as well.

On Fios Central? Please enlighten me instead of just saying it can be done... I know it can be done on the DVR itself but unless its a new option I haven't found a way to do it on the website...

1) Cool I hope that gets turned on soon. I rarely just record one episode of anything. I always record full series.
2) Yeah with the 3 limited phones listed, I think the service is useless, they need to support, the 3 big ones, Java, Windows Mobile, and I hate to say iPhone. Until that's done, your not going to get mass appeal for it.

you have to remember that at this point it's only VZ wireless phones that are being able to be supported. That means no iPhone. However, the list of only 2 phones out of VZ's selection is still pretty weak 🙂

Issue
3) Open it up to everyone not just Verizon wireless. There is no need for a carrier lock. People are not going to switch wireless services to get remote DVR.

I think for a 3rd party to do that they would need a programming API of some sort. I am not a programmer, but to be able to access db and get into proprietary systems, a programmer would need info that only a sort of API would need to provide. But I may be wrong.
How do you like you g1? I was thinking about getting a white one. But I just found out that android is almost ported over to windows mobile, so I may hold off until wm7 comes out if that's the case. Best of both worlds.
