I think Verizon is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life!! 

I work in customer service & have for 30 years!!  If my company resolved things like Verizon, we would have been out of business years ago!!!   And Versizon should be too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This piece of junk thing you call a DVR box, is worthless.  Even the 3 customer service reps I talked to today said so!!

So now my box is fried, and I've lost everything......so all you can do is replace it for the same peice of junk.  REALLY!!!!!!

I have home phone, internet, tv & cell phone through Verizon now, because I thought it would be better than AT&T,   BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!  And now I'm paying for it!!

And to boot, I paid a $350 dollar penalty from my old company to join this!!!

Now in order to get out of this mess, you want me to pay you a penalty fee!!   Yet your only option for me is:

You want to replace your junk with the same junk......so I can go through this again in another 4 months.

My DVR was 50% full, and now everything is gone!!  So why would I want the same peice of junk to have it happen again???

Why record anything?

You should be paying me the penalty!!!  For misrepresenting your company as the best!!!

I pay Verizon $400 a month.........for what???  To loose everything?

And to boot, your people don't care.  All they want to do is get you off the phone!!

I will pay your penalty to cancel!!  But I will also let people know my experience with VERIZON!!!!

What DVR do you have? Hardware etc. The model number on the front of the box.

There are many people here that can reach out and resolve your issues. I know they often next day ship hardware, even as aggravating as it may be to lose your recordings, it could happen with any provider. I am sure someone else from Verizon will contact you to help. I will point out your issue. This is a peer to peer community, customers helping customers, but Verizon does join in to help when someone is not getting results. Look for a private message in your envelope on the top right of the page, or Verizon may contact you using the information supplied with your account.

It was probably just a defective box.  It's unfortunate and annoying when that happens but I agree that that can happen to anyone with any new provider.  So what's wrong with replacing it?

Actually no one has contacted me.  There is no little envelope up in the corner....

And to boot, I did give in & call for the 4th time to have them send me a replacement.  But just checked status of the request......and nothing has been processed.         I was suppose to receive the replacement today.......and nothing.

So you wonder why I'm frustrated with Verizon????   I have home phone, internet, fios, and cell phones all with Verizon now for less than six months.  I had issues with billing the first three months I joined....and that wasn't a good start..... and now this!  It's not the fact of sending the replacement.....it's the people you have to talk to!!!!

I could just kick myself for changing!!!!

Maybe it's just my service area.....I don't know.  But I don't even want to call again,  I'm just done!

Just for the record......my issue with getting a replacement, was:

When I called the first time The Verizon Rep told me "that box is a piece of junk, but they don't listen to me"!! 

So then he proceeds to tell me he can replace it for the same "so called" piece of junk. 

Sorry.....but I pay good money for all these services!!!   I don't want a piece of junk!!

I've already lost everything once.,....do you think I want to go through it again???  Especially when your own people tell me it's no good?????

But I did give in like I said on the 4th call.  Figured I might as well get the junk while I'm trying to get out of this mess.

Problem is I just don't want to call and waste my time talking to nobody again!! 

I want to talk to someone who can actually do something.....and then do what they say!!!   But as far as I can tell.....they don't exist.  ??
