Issue with MR-DVR

OK so I have having this issue with me MR-DVR. Its been going on for a while and a power cycle would fix the issue for a bit. But it does not seem to be. This happens with live TV or recorded shows. Every about 10 sec the video will freeze for a split second. But the audio will keep playing. The the video will jump to the correct spot. If I go to the back room, non DVR and stream the same show, it will play just fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like an issue with the Dvr...Does this occur when "Only" the Dvr is accessing the recorded programming?

Tim, It sounds like your issue is with your dvr, have you called the Fsc to arrange a visit from a Field Tech?  By the way...is the model number of the dvr a 7216?

Yeah it part of the 7xxx models. I just hate to get a new DVR because reprogramming them sucks. I figured that was the solution from the start but I am trying to avoid that.

In our parts here in Western Ny we have been replacing the 7216 units with 6416 units because of all the issues.  They are working on updates in the firmware to correct these issues. The next update is slated for some time in January.  The 7216's were nice, however; the 6416 units proved to be more more stable.

It's a shame we don't have a way of transporting your programming from one unit to another...That would be pretty sweet!

Yeah and if I remember the 6416 does not have the eSATA if I remember. And I don't want to give that up, I want to use that when they open it up. But the next FW may be as far off as Feb.. But no solid date yet. So if I need a new box I am SOL.
