KUDO to Corporate VZ for Service Rendered

First, my only relationship with VZ is as a customer.  But, since they are so often bad-mouthed in these forums, I wanted to give them a bit of credit.

My "Free-For-Life" QIP2500-3 SD STB went into it's death throes Thursday A.M. early.  Could not turn it on or off - flashing screen, with indeciperable messages, etc.  Trouble-shooting failed.  Set up online chat with someone, somewhere.  Agreed new box was needed.  Said it will be there timorrow (Friday) though the confirmation message said "a few days".  It arrived here in Virginia Beach at 4 p.m., (Even though it was still in MD Friday morning) and worked immediately.  Shipped the old one back up to PA this morning from my neighborhood UPS - Free.  And - because I am aware that VZ seems to have a remarkable ability to lose the boxes, it is trackable, and I have a receipt.  So, well done.
