Moving to a new home

Hello, my name is angela. I just moved out of my old house, and I asked to move my services as well. The appointment for the whole installation is on Friday. I want to know if i'm going to be charged for the service. Also, what do I do with the equipment i had before? I have it here in my new home, but when I asked for the change, I was told the same day that the service was going to be suspended. It appears that it hasn't yet.
