The new guide has popup ads often for paid movies. These ads cause substantial delays in seeing the "Guide" after pressing the "Guide" button often 10 seconds or more. Often one presses "Guide" multiple times assuming that the receiver didn't receive the first message.
How do we disable these popup ads? They were not present in the previous guide nor the issues associated with them. I receive enough ads from other sources and I am not paying for FIOS TV to spam me with popups. It's one thing to advertise within the Guide, quite another to disrupt and degrade service with popups.

Those were still there with the old guide, has nothing to do with the new one, however you are right, it is annoying.
