Sorting VOD rentals vs. buy-only movies

When I search Video On Demand, is there a way to sort rentals from buy-only movies?  It seems like every time we choose a movie we'd like to see, we discover it is only available for purchase, and I'm not willing to spend that much money.  It's a frustrating system.   I'd like to be able to see just the rentals.  Is that possible?

No Verizon wants to maximize their profit.  They claim customers what to easily find all movie options.  It's just very financialy benefical to Verizon to have all the expensive Flexview movies pop up instead of ALL the free VOD movies.

Hello,

To filter the movie results to display only movies for rent for FiOS TV On Demand, try the following:

From your FiOS TV Remote go to --

  1. On Demand -- Movies -- By Title -- All -- select a title grouping (A - F, G - N, O - Z, or 0 - 9) --
  2. Scroll to the right where all the movie poster thumbnails are shown until one movie is highlighted, and then press 'Options' from your remote --
  3. Scroll down from the default 'All' to 'Rent' and click OK.  The other filtering options are:  'HD', 'Free', 'FlexView' and by ratings.  This will filter the movie titles for that selected grouping.

Hope this helps!

Cool.  It's actually there.  No suprise it takes SO long to switch to that mode and shockingly the previous state is not remember.  So almost knows the procedure , the defauls are not saved so ...Verizon gets more profits via VOD.
