STB Shutting Itself Off

My standard def FIOS STB is shutting itself off and screwing up my TiVo recordings.  It has worked fine for like six months but the last couple of weeks has been causing problems.  Thoughts on how to fix?  Thanks!

Are you sure you a not having power interuptions?

Has it done this while you are watching TV?

It could be overheating. Make sure it has plenty of air circulation and the vents on top are not blocked.

It does not shut off while watching TV.  I will check to make sure it has proper ventilation.

I checked the cooling and it seemed fine.  I did reset it from the web while at work.  When I got home I turned it back on and it's been on for two days now with no problems.
