Trying to upgrade my DVR to the 500GB model through the website and I run into one of two scenarios:
1- Get stuck on the 'Retrieving Your Account Information' prompt
OR
2- Sometimes it gets past the above prompt but says that I don't have a DVR and that I should upgrade my service.
I read other forum posts and I have tried upgrading via chrome, firefox, ie and Safari. Verified I had the latest version of java, installed the Verizon software, and tried the auto-correct feature available in the DVR hoping it would recognize my DVR during the upgrade process. No success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am having a very similar problem. I have trying for a couple weeks to order a new DVR online, but keep getting a message that my login failed, which is odd since I am already logged in. I have even called in and was told that the only way to get a 500 GB DVR is to order it online, which basically means until the issue is fixed, i can't upgrade. i would appreciate any additional help that can be provided.

If you have a fios store near you you can get one there.....if they have some in stock. Thats how I got mine. They had a closet full of them.
