Hello. I am trying to find information on how to use my own router with fios tv, without having to use those fios provided router as a bridge. I currently have fios gigabit internet, and TV, and am using their home router. The home router has terrible range, and my internet speeds fluctuate and lag during video streaming and gaming. When setting up my home router, fios said I needed to have it connected to the ethernet connection from the ONT, as well as the coaxial connection to be able to get the full speeds. I also know the coaxial cable is needed for the TV features such as the guide and on demand to work. How can I use my own router, get the full gigabit speeds, as well as all the TV functioning without having to rent a router from verizon to use a bridge?
