Video Freeze

I've been experiencing fairly constand video freezes while watching live TV.

What happens is the screen will freeze on an image, and the sound will continue.

Turning everything off for a few minutes seems to clear things up.

My setup has the video going from the FIOS DVR box straight to the TV with audio being routed through a receiver.

Any thoughts would be enlightening.

I have a similar problem, video has hickups. When I power cycle the box, it's ok for about 30min thne starts again. Only happen on oen TV, the othe one OK.

Could be a bad dvr, a bad signal, bad ont, bad splitter or bad hdmi cable. Can you do anything else when the video freezes such as pull up the dvr's menu or does it all freeze?
