Took care of my issue (voice mail services, which I didn't know I had...LOL) and surprisingly pleased. Other than finding I had numerous messages out there after arguing with folks that called me saying I didn't have any messages on my answering machine!!! What a hoot! Magali took care of my problem within a few minutes and now I am a happy camper, once again!!!"

 

That's great.  I've had some pretty good on line chat and shared sessions as well.  I remember I had that very same problem in the beginning after my Fios was set up.  Like you, I was expecting to receive all of my messages on my land line's answering machine and didn't realize that I had the Verizon voice mail.  I myself was getting messages in  Verizon's voice mail which I didn't know I had.  It was confusing for a while until I figured it out and I had no idea about it when my service was first set up.  But now that I have renewed my contract to received upgraded services, I received an Adobe Acrobat file explaining all of the voice mail functions and the order I placed on line with the assistance of a CSR gave the initial instructions for setting that up so it seems that Verizon has gotten better about communicating that information. 

 

The only thing I would suggest is that you keep the answering machine on your land line phone turned off so that way, all of your voice messages will go into your Verizon voice mailbox and they will all be in one place.  When I had my regular answering machine turned on, some messages would go into my land line answering machine and others would go into Verizon voice mail and it would be drive me crazy having them scattered like that.  But as soon as I turned off the land line answering machine, that solved the problem and I have kept it that way since then.

Hello my name is{edited for privacy} and A few days ago I paid my Verizon bill of 24.99 and just today Verizon took out another 24.99. Im not late on my payments I'm just thinking that The money taken out by verizon the 2nd time was a misunderstanding. So is there anyway I can Get a refund of the 24.99? Ihave to pay a bill and I cant if the money isnt there. and I would also like to be taken off of the automatic payments.

Hi,

 

We just arrived in London and have no international service.  I think we did something wrong.  What do we do now?  Were we supposed to activate our phones before we left the states?
