Can I keep my Verizon DSL service?

I have voice + DSL, both verizon. Can I cancel the voice service (phone) while still keep my DSL?

The answer is maybe. It depends upon two tihngs:

Did you enter into a contract for both services with a combined pricing? If you did, you are pretty much stuck until the contract period runs out.

 

The more serious issue is whether or not Verizon offers 'dry loop' service in your area (DSL without voice telephone service). DSL is not a tariffed service, so Verizon doesn't have to offer it without telephone service, and in many areas, they don't. So you would have to call Verizon to find out if Dry Loop service is available in your area.
