We're moving to an area that isn't serviced by Verizon. Is there any way to keep our email address? Help!

According to some Verizon agents, you can keep it by signing up for Verizon Your Domain service. I have never personally signed up for this service.
According to the website:
Get the email address you’ve always wanted and keep it for life.
Works with your Verizon.net mailboxes.
Create email addresses for family or friends that share a common interest , for use with Verizon email.
100 MB site space and 1 GB traffic are included so you can build your blog, slideshows or your starter catalog.
You can also fully manage your DNS, MX and other domain registration settings.

Thanks so much for your reply. I went to the website and I think there's a catch -- they say, "You are able to view and reply to your domain name email messages from your Verizon.net email account." I was on the phone with Verizon yesterday -- six people and an hour and a half later, I still didn't have an answer to my question. I think I'm doomed.
