Need setup instructions

Hi,

I'm new to setup the external firewall (NETGEAR FVS114 ProSafe VPN Firewall 8 with 4-Port 10/100 Mbps Switch) with the modem coming with 7.1MB turbo plan. Any instructions? Do I need to set the modem to bridge mode? If so how? I do know I have to assign different local ip address to different devices. Many thanks.

To get the modem to bridge mode, follow this path...

#1 Go to http://start.verizon.net/

#2 Support

#3 Networking

#4 Setup

#5 Connecting a third-party router to your home network

#6 Westell 6100

type in http://routerlogin.net into your address bar and press enter to start the wizard in the router...
