Hello everyone, this is my first post.

 I have Verizon's wireless modem usb720 for my internet connection now and verizon has recently installed a high speed internet line 

in my area, while the wireless connection is not the fastest it pretty reliable.

and just from reading some of the posts on the internet line and wireless router I'm having second thoughts on changing over.

the impression that I get is that if you go to the high speed line and want a good router then you need to buy your own,

am I wrong on this ?  

and how reliable is the high speed line ?

With Time Warner, that I have temporarily for now...my desktop is connected and my laptop is on wireless.  I went out and purchased my own wireless router and while it works great for now, I'm hoping to find out how it works with the DSL.  When it gets turned....and that is a big when...I will be able to let you know how it works.  If you think that it is better to purchase your own wireless, then I would probably do so.  At least you would have the option of returning the wireless router if it is defective or something.
