Thanks for wasting my time

I get an e-mail from Verizon  today

Subject: Reminder to Log on to My Verizon

To: "My Verizon User" MyVerizonUser@verizon.com

So I log on.

But wait:

I told I have to change my “secret question for enhanced security”.

2 minutes later I get a robo call asking if I really wanted to change my secrete question.

Then I have to “validate “my email to access my account.

2 minutes later, I get an e-mail that says:

Dear verizon.com customer,

Thank you for taking the time to update security components of your Verizon online account. Because security is a top priority at Verizon, we'll need you to validate your email address at this time. To do this for your Online Account with User ID xxxxxxxx you will need the following three-digit code: xxx

And all I wanted to do was check which DSL package I have, and of course, it gives no details to the speed I have.

Again thanks for wasting my time.

I hope you are not a victim of Phishing.  Many times the links look real, and you enter your info after clicking on them.  Now the phisher has your info.  If I were you, I would log back on directly and change the questions and password. Just a thought.
