Verizon DSL High Speed Internet Optimizer

when i attempt to use Verizon DSL High Speed Internet Optimizer it says "We detected that you are using Windows 7 Operating Systems on your PC. Windows 7 will optimize your connection for you. There is no need to use the Speed Optimizer tool." but i do not believe Windows 7 is doing so is there another way to use this tool?

Any advice, yes.

#1 You could try to get help from  abhi_col since they use that tool on Windows 7. But be adviced, they are on FIOS.

#2 Or perhaps you could help from http://www.dslreports.com/forum/tweaks or some other site with message board where they can help you tweak your connection.

when attemting to access abhi_col its says "Forbidden,You don't have permission to access /user/viewprofilepage/user-id/41704 on this server."
