Wireless without a Computer?

Message 1 of 2

My friend wishes to get wireless internet, using a regular modem from verzion and a linksys wireless router from the store. Is it possible to "borrow" a computer (say a laptop of some sort) and configure the linksys so it works wirelessly and then take the laptop back? He just wants basic wireless internet for his PSP and his xbox360, but he is not sure if he can manually connect the internet up without an actual computer 24/7.

Any help or comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

While I do not have any game consoles, I believe that is possible.

To start with:

#1 What is the brand and model of the modem?

#2 What is the model of the Linksys router?
