When I dial out I don't hear the ringing while waiting for the call to go through. I have a dial tone. I thought I used to hear it ring but I'm not sure. The problem is the call never connects. I've tried calling known answering machines and even fax machines and I never connect. Eventually after a long time I get the fast busy.

I do get incoming calls. And the really odd part to me is I am able to call my cell phone and that does go through.

Anyone hear of anything like this?
