Select default voicemail greeting

How do I set my home voicemail to use the default greeting that just says "You have reached 5 5 5   5 5 5   5 5 5 5.  At the beep, please leave a message."  I don't hear that option anywhere.

The option should be there in the greetings section of the menu. Also if you did not record a greeting when you set up your voice mail the automated greeting would be there by default.

I just called my voicemail and there is an option to "use the automated greeting". Here is how I got to it:

Call the voicemail access #

Enter your passcode

Go to Main Menu

For Mailbox Options press 9

Press 1 for "Greeting, Name or Passcode"

Press 1 again for "Greeting"

Press 1 for personal greeting or 2 for busy greeting

Your current greeting will be played

Then press 3 to select the automated greeting.
