Autopay discount with Verizon visa?

The literature issued with the Verizon Visa card offers a $10/month discount with VZW and indicates that the same discount may apply to my Fios account. However, in two calls to Verizon, they indicate that the autopay discount will not apply with the Verizon Visa card. Which is correct?
