Bogus TV Equipment Upgrade Fee $49.99

Upgrading to Quantum TV but then find out there is a one time fee to get the equipment. Really Verizon? you are going to come out with new equipment, plan to roll it out to all customers, and then charge us for getting it? All this while we will already be paying a monthly fee to have the equipment in the first place. Such a scam.

And it is called an "upgrade fee", does this mean new customers getting Quantum do not have to pay it, but existing customers do? Way to treat loyal customers. Did you not make enough money from me from my rental of my previous boxes to pay for them each 10 times over. I have given you guys over $30,000 over the last 10 years and you are going to nickel and dime me for 50 **bleep** dollars?

I agree--charging for upgrading equipment that you install, yourself is wrong. $50 of pure profit.

That's the point.  If enough customers are aware of this, Higher negative response.
