I am having the same problem on HBOGo and WatchESPN.
After selecting my TV provider (Fios), I enter in my Verizon username and password. It is recognized, but I it gives a message that says "You must sign up for Verizon Fios TV to use this service. Click here to order online now."
I already have Fios (and even when I click on the link, it immediately brings me to a page that shows my TV service).
On top of all of this, customer support was unable to help me on Saturday, when I was told I needed to talk to a billing specialist on Monday. After talking to a billing specialist, I was given another number for technical support, and after 15 minutes on hold, it tried to direct me to a representative, but instead hung up on me.
How does this problem get fixed?

Online support is a misnomer as well. Starts telling me expected wait time is 3 minutes. Then after 5 it says it'll be another 7, Currently 42 minutes waiting and now expected wait time is 28 minutes. This must be a definition of support that I haven't encountered before. Just because it's fiber optic doesn't mean we have to experience relativistic time delays in getting support.

Any updates on this? When I view "Account Overview" it shows I clearly have HBO.
However, after selecting my TV providor in both HBO GO and WatchESPN and signing in, it says I either need to sign up for Fios TV or I don't have the service.

Did you guys go through the activation process? the hbo sign in's all get merged during activation
if you have never done it, or have TWO usersnames (one for email and one for looking at your bill) then you need to merge them into one ID.
go to http://activate.verizon.net and log in with your username (if you have two, then log in with your email address not the bill pay address) and follow the steps through.

That solution did not work. This is all about $$. More people watching online video is costing verizon money. Hence, no HBOGO for us....

thats wierd, worked for me. Do you log in with your email address, because that is the one they want for the hbo go and other go services.
also try two different browsers just in case. let us know what error you get.

My problem is with my iPhone and teh WatchESPN app. When I try to log in I get a message "you do not subscribe to the appropriate package from your cable provider". Funny thing is, the app worked before Thursday when I downloaded the update. Anyone else having the same issue???
